About the Role
As a Junior Accounts Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our payroll and book-keeping services for a range of SME clients. Working closely with our experienced team, you will help ensure accurate and timely financial processing while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the accounting profession.
You will work primarily from home, with occasional in-person meet-ups to collaborate, share ideas, and improve how we operate. At Augur, every team member is encouraged to contribute to our mission of being the best accounting firm for SMEs.

Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and processing of client payrolls
- Assist with book-keeping and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance tasks
- MLiaise with clients by email and phone to resolve queries
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
About You
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed team
- Good with numbers and enjoys problem-solving
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other digital tools
- Able to manage their own workload and meet deadlines
- Eager to learn and develop new skills in accounting
